1- Applications for sponsorships must include name of organization/individual; amount requested; what money is to be used for; how it benefits VGA as an organization; and, the number of VGA member participants.
2- Applications for sponsorships should be submitted a week before the spring VGA meeting so the board/committee can evaluate applications and recommend appropriate sponsorships.
3- If a sponsorship is awarded, the group/individual must provide the VGA with a year-end (before the fall VGA meeting) written report covering success of their activity and/or event and a financial breakdown of how VGA's sponsorship money was used. This can be reported at the fall meeting - again, to provide a more open process. If the group or individual does not complete this requirement, the group or individual may be considered ineligible for a sponsorship the following year.
